Pilot of the spaceship Paragon, Captain Chad "Mazer" Cooper was selected to be the pilot for the "Black Mercury" mission. When the ship was destroyed by the Jacathra armada, he was selected to be assimilated into the Warbreed. However, the experiments didn't take, so he was labeled a reject and sent to the slave pits. He meets Vespa, and they along with his other surviving shipmates escape the pits. His powers, which were dormant, took form and he is now the leader of StarCore, searching the universe to end the tyrany of Baron and looking for a way back home.
HALO
Real Name: Jessica Cadow
Power: flight; can breathe in space; shoots out "quantum rings
Team: StarCore

A former nurse, Jessica Cadow was part of the experimental "Black Mercury" mission to explore the universe. Her ship was destroyed by the Jacathra armada and though she survived she was experimented on to become one of Baron's Warbreed. She escaped the slave pits and is now a member of StarCore.

Real Name: Marc Delgado
Power: bonded with symbiote which grants him human/animal hybrid morphing

Marc Delgado was a zoologist selected for the "Black Mercury" mission to study any other lifeforms encountered on the mission to explore the other side of the universe. After his ship was destroyed, he along with the other survivors were assimilated into the Warbreed. Having a symbiotic parasite bonded to him, he gained the ability to morph into different animal hybrids.

Real Name: David Stephenson
Power: bonded with a battle suit that grants him the firepower of a battalion; limited flight; can breathe in space

Private David Stephenson was a marine who was selected into the "Black Mercury" mission along with his unit in the manner if they encountered any hostile lifeform. When their ship was destroyed, he was sent to be assimilated into Baron's Warbreed. Fused with Argus armor, what is known as "living metal", he strives to hold onto his humanity as he's more machine than man.
VESPA

Power: solar powered energy blasts; can breathe in space

Once a princess of the peaceful civilization of the the planet Zarohn, Vespa was abducted by Baron and the Jacathra Empire in an attempt to take over their planet and expand his empire. Sent to the slave pits, she met Mazer and escaped the slave pits along with the other members of StarCore.
